The
Scourge of Ageism
We associate ageism with prejudiced actions
and systems that target the “old people”. I am not aware of what the current
“TOO OLD” age is. As I recall, about 20 years or so ago, it was around 65 or so
when one was supposed to be beyond anything that could be called useful.
Ageism is of course just one of the isms,
like sex and race and nationality that weak people employ to make themselves feel
better and superior. Ageism like all the isms, is a delusionary disease that is
especially susceptible to manipulation by intelligence. I say this because in
the many years I spent in human relations training for the employees of the
Department of Public Social Services in a very large California County, this is
exactly what I observed day in and day out. The most intransigent and mean “ism”
infected individuals that I encountered in this work were intelligent, some
more than others but all quite capable of doing some rather intellectually demanding
tasks.
They could not be reached by any kind of
empathy or logic. Their motivation, frequently unconscious, was a totally
self-centered drive for engendering self power.
The above comments cover the entire spectrum
of the “isms”. But in this blog I wish to focus some light on an aspect of
ageism that is becoming more and more prevalent and is currently not even
noticed or at least generally ignored.
It is not in defense of the elderly that I
am bringing this up. Rather it is an offensive against the “ageism” expressed
toward our younger sisters and brothers, and an exposure of the insanity and
stupidity that drives this particular ism.
Since she was in the 9th grade, around 15 or
so years old, a young woman, Greta Thunberg, who is 16, she will be 17 on
January 3, has been totally and seriously engaged in an effort to awaken us to
the environmental disasters that are showering down upon us as a result of our
climate ignorance. Anyone who has been awake over the past year or so will be
aware of her efforts. Last week, Time magazine was impressed enough
to name her Time’s 2019 Person of the Year.
The issue here is not the grave ignorance
and selfishness that is driving us toward the impending climate disaster. The
issue is her physical age!
Greta’s highly evolved intelligence is
obvious. However, her comprehension of Principles and world effects and dangers,
are sourced through her heart, not her mind. These are the signatures of an
expanded consciousness. Greta Thunberg manifests through her living actions
what is being understood as Group Consciousness. She sees herself as an
intrinsic member of Humanity and the planet.
This means that she does not see herself as
a person who is separated from all others and locked in a competitive battle with
all others to avoid death. Her goals are not to conquer and to rule over others
to assure to herself that she is better, superior to them. Those are the attitudes and assumptions of animals.
Humans have animal bodies, and over millions
of years we have evolved out of our identification with those bodies into a realization
that we are the consciousness that inhabits them and are caring for and using
them to further the evolution of all beings.
I do not know whether she is aware of these
facts or even considers them. However because of the millions of years that
Humans have been evolving on this planet, she
was born that way. She is being a normal human being. And, she is not alone.
There are presently some 8,000,000,000
humans roaming around on this planet. The Ageless Wisdom indicates that our
presence began some 18,000,000 years ago. (For a somewhat brief, but rather in

And surly, in that time, and given the amazing speed up of human consciousness
as seen in the steady growth of systems which support and champion the Common
Good of all beings, including the actual
dense physical body of our planet, since the 1400s, significant numbers of
us have evolved somewhat beyond our identification with our animal bodies and instincts.
In short, humans are not minerals, or plants
or animals. Human beings are in fact individually self-aware units of Consciousness
who presently inhabit these dense bodies to help unfold the Plan.
Greta Thunberg has said she was inspired by
the teen activists at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland,
Florida, who had organized the March for Our Lives. These individuals were and
are demonstrating group consciousness. There are huge numbers of individuals
whom we call children such as these in incarnation on this planet. In November
they staged more than 2300 events in over 175 Countries in which more than
785,000 people were involved.
For one tiny example, I quote Wikipedia.
“On 1 March 2019, 150 students from the global coordination group of the
youth-led climate strike (of 15 March), including Thunberg, issued an open
letter in The Guardian, saying
We, the young, are deeply concerned about
our future. […] We are the voiceless future of humanity. We will no longer
accept this injustice. […] We finally need to treat the climate crisis as a
crisis. It is the biggest threat in human history and we will not accept the
world's decision-makers' inaction that threatens our entire civilization. […]
Climate change is already happening. People did die, are dying and will die
because of it, but we can and will stop this madness. […] United we will rise
until we see climate justice. We demand the world's decision-makers take
responsibility and solve this crisis. You have failed us in the past. If you
continue failing us in the future, we, the young people, will make change
happen by ourselves. The youth of this world has started to move and we will
not rest again.”
What a wonder it will be to see this kind of
wisdom, of love and understanding put into action by those in our governments who
are supposed to represent the Common Good and the General Welfare.
We currently have hypocrites and cowards in
control of many governments.
One, perhaps the major point, in this blog is
to call us to the recognition that the age, sex race or even the condition of
an individual’s dense physical body is not a valid data point in determining
either their intelligence or their level of consciousness. Only their actions
are.
We need to grasp the cosmic fact that energy,
and therefore “output” follows thought.
The actions of an individual regardless of
age sex or any other ism that are motivated by a selfless concern for the
Common Good and the General Welfare Will always be intelligent, and, in terms
of the Common Good, practical. Such actions are heart, or to risk using a
terribly misunderstood term, LOVE driven.
You will see this kind of action even in two
and three year olds who naturally want to share with other children. And recall
that since 1950 world population has grown from 2.5 to 8 billion people.
Another very important and seldom considered data point is that there has been
no worldwide catastrophic wars since 1945. Because of evolution huge numbers of children
are now being born that way. Greta Thunberg’s actions are the heart driven
actions of a 15/16 year old human being.
The actions of a devious, seemingly kind, or
outright cruel, insensitive, self-promoting individual regardless of her or his
age may indicate advanced intellect but the consciousness driving such agendas
is not human. It is arrested in the identification of pre-human or animal
consciousness. Such a person is really not much more than a sophisticated ape.
The “age appropriate” conditioning of our
educational systems is based on ignorance. Using so called “IQ”s for
segregating and “tracking” children is grossly stupid. Some of the most deadly
evil persons in the world have high “IQ”s. They are especially adept at
corralling and using lesser evolved humans to do their bidding.
There are two mighty forces awakening on the
planet. One of them is our Sisters. The other is our “children”.
