You know, what concerns me is the stuff like the looooong article of the opinions of individuals who are mired in the politics and visions of 1900 hundreds that was published in the NYT 4/24/19 by Tom Edsall. "Bernie Sanders Scares a Lot of People, and Quite a Few of Them Are Democrats"

Edsall, a regular oped writer for the NYT, is undoubtedly a good person; however, he is, as are many of the NYT's opinion writers, deeply out of sync with the evolution of awareness that is being manifested in the explosions of honest to god LIBERAL (in the un-trashed meaning of that concept) thought in the last 20 years.

The efforts of these well meaning, but truly, out of touch, people do not help. They engender fear and uncertainty in their comfortable with the status quo, sisters and brothers. The advice and halfway policy measures of the "careful, do not upset the comfortable ones" so called leaders of the party are an actually bigger problem than trump's base which we can easily vote away. These folks (all good people such a N. Pelosi) are not leaders. They are the followers of outworn concepts, and consequently, they have us going around in circles. We cannot afford to do that anymore.

There are almost 8 billion human beings on the planet. Time is running out on a lot of fronts of which the environment is only one. The system for the distribution of Life Energy or wealth which gives 1% of the wealth to about 85% of the people is generating great damage and suffering planet wide. It is totally unsustainable and will, sooner than we realize, lead to the complete breakdown of anything like Democracy and the control of the people by the super wealthy few that will make Hitler's program look insignificant.

A significant number of the individuals who are running for President such as Warren, Sanders, Harris, are real Leaders. They are simply putting out 21st century IDEAS. These ideas are not new, they are actually the inclusive principles and ideas that underpin Freedom and Liberty for All. If any one of these totally qualified thinkers "wins" the election for President of the United States of America, we and they, will all win.

Naturally, to those who are mired in the capitalistic presentation of policy which has generated the present unsustainable situation these ideas are terrifying. The "old" system of capitalism for the rich and poverty for everyone else does not, has not worked.

Time to get some new shoes for Humanity.
