Dear Hillary:

Today I received the following in my email.

“Tom, if you’re a policy nerd like Hillary, we’d love to invite you to a special new group: Wonks for Hillary. Add your name now to be one of the first to join, and we'll keep you updated on key policy rollouts throughout the campaign and even invite you to join exclusive calls with policy  advisers like me

My reply went who knows where? But this was It.

The WONKS are the problem. The solution is to get some HEARTS to tell the wonks what to wonk up!

Let me know if you start a HEART group to help Hillary SEE WHAT NEEDS WONKING.

Really, try to get this. It' crucial!

Wonks know how to get things done, but they have no idea about what actually needs doing. Shift gears here Hillary. I know you have a heart. I know its trying to get through all that intellectual static. Start hearing it again.

I say again, because there is clear evidence that when you were young, not in years, especially but in terms of pre-programming with all the Cant’s and Too Much’s, and Take Little Steps, you listened to your heart. All of that dumbing down, phony pragmatic programming stuff came from that high powered mind of yours.

Not one of all the Heroes to whom you often refer, including Marian Wright Edelman and several dozens more I could list, would have ever accomplished 1/100 of what they did if they allowed the busy, busy little mind all involved with the parts and generating the dark whisperers of doubt and fear, to block out the Reasons why their hearts indicated they had to go forward.

The heart does not fail. It does not recognize failing as an option because it never stops trying to move forward. The heart does not doubt, and the heart is fearless. The wonkish mind immersed in all of its stuff sees these qualities as fairy dust.

The mind is simply not made to comprehend Principle and Possibilities. It is a wizard at building stuff, but it has no sense of direction or of Possibilities.

The mind requires guidance. It cannot act on its own, so it is imperative for the future of the Planet that the guidance comes from the Heart.

What we see in the suffering of the people and the destruction of the environment is the result of the guidance of the Selfish Controllers, that vast Right Wing Conspiracy to which you once referred.

And please realize that all the so called pragmatism is simply avoiding the challenges. It is in essence anti pragmatic because it fails to get done what needs to get done.

I am assuming that you will be our next President, and I will support every forward step that you have the courage to take. If you take those steps, you will not be alone!

 Gee Hillary what an opportunity to actually do some GOOD!
